Review: We had a simple problem with our 1.5 year old HVAC unit and they “fixed” it for $250 only for it to go out two months later for the same reason. They replaced an entirely different part for $500. A few days later after the second visit we had water damage to our ceiling because of the unit leaking in the attic which had NEVER happened before and was completely dry before the technician came – clearly secondary to the technician mucking around and causing problems. When we asked them to fix it, they said it wasn’t their problem and wanted to charge us $250 for the evaluation but they didn’t even fix it. They were rude, unhelpful, incompetent in HVAC repair and we feel like we were swindled since they came up with a new problem every time they showed up. Please do not use this company! Photos of the water damage caused by the HVAC system that we are now going to have to address and pay for.UPDATE:This was certainly Reliance Heating and Air in Nashville, TN. When we discussed with upper management about our disappointment we were told it wasn’t their fault, they wanted us to pay the $250 even though they had not fixed nor diagnosed the problem, and if we didn’t pay it they would no longer work with us. We declined payment and reached out to a different company.We went with American heating and cooling who came out the next day, diagnosed our problem within an hour, taught us how to fix the problem ourselves in the future, fixed the problem, checked our heating complimentary since it’s about to get colder, and only charged us $99 for the entire visit. Needless to say will be using American from now on!

I did not receive any high pressure sales to buy a unit or any crazy finance deal. Everything was done quickly and as promised.A very big thank you to Julian and Nathan for their expert install! Review: My Wife and I recently moved into a newly built home in Poplar Place 55+ Community. Shortly after moving in we noticed that one room, the Study, was not cooling properly due to low air flow from the ceiling vent. I called Reliance and talked to Stacey. She set up an appointment for one of their Techs to make a service call to investigate. It was determined that indeed the air flow to one room was not sufficient and an adjustment to the fan speed was made. This seemed to help increase the air flow, marginally, but a secondary issue was created. With the increased air flow, the main Intake Grille was making a humming / vibration noise. A second and third service call was made by different Techs but they were not able to rectify the noise issue. Stacey then asked another Tech, John, to visit and help troubleshoot the problem. John determined that another smaller intake was needed for the Study for better air flow which he installed. This fixed the initial problem however the intake noise issue remained. John did some research and located a heavier Intake Grille and it was installed. This fixed the noise issue!I would like to commend both Stacey and John for their diligence and determination to make our HVAC issue go away and fulfill our desire for a comfortable and peaceful new home.James Robinson
